Thesis 1 of 4

I am not afraid to speak up if I see anything happening

This interim survey indicates that a large proportion of the respondents find it difficult to speak up when they see undesirable behavior happening to others. By speaking up, you make other people aware of their undesirable behavior and you support someone who may find this difficult themselves. Read how you can act in such a situation, both with respect to someone who experiences unwanted behavior and the person who exhibits it, and speak up next time.

I can indicate my boundaries.

This interim survey indicates that too many of the respondents are unable or insufficiently able to indicate their boundaries. Do you want to make it known that your boundaries have been crossed? Are you unsure whether you are crossing someone else’s boundaries? Or are you curious what you can do when you see it happen? We ask you to read what you can do and actively use the toolkit. Using these tips contributes to a workplace in which colleagues and you work on solutions for everyone.

I am not afraid to be open and honest with the people I work and learn with

The majority of respondents is afraid to be open and honest. A key part of a pleasant working environment is that you can express your opinions, feedback or reactions in a professional manner. We recommend that you read what you can do and actively use the toolkit.  By speaking up, listening to each other and trying to understand each other through questions, we become accessible to each other.

Thesis 4 of 4

I understand what I can and cannot say

A large proportion of the respondents has trouble assessing what they can and cannot say. Boundaries are personal. It is not about your experience or the prevailing norm, but about what the other person finds desirable or undesirable behavior. Are you unsure whether you are crossing someone else’s boundaries? And are you unsure how best to act in such a situation? Use the toolkit and try to apply it.
